Looks like we are starting out clean!

For my first tutorial challenge, I chose this awesome tut from JustFi called Artist Impression to celebrate our creativity!

I EDITED THIS AND REMOVED THE IMAGES BECAUSE i DIDN'T HAVE THE CP ON THEM YET..

I am confused on one point.. Under the Let's Start, line #4 it says to change the blend mode on the ORIGINAL, but I'm wondering if she means to do it on the COPY..  Here is what it looks like when I do the overlay on the original Top Tube




Let’s Start
Open a new canvas 550 x 200 and flood fill with white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer – rename Top Tube
Move so the face in within the middle of the canvas
Duplicate and on the original change the blend mode to Overlay


Activate the original

Hi Girls, yes is step 1 it should be the COPY layer that you change the blend mode on Smile

I'm going to do the tut again now myself and make sure I got it right lol sorry, sometimes my fingers and mind work at different speeds lol

Also I will try to remember to take screen shots of the layer palettes in future when then are lots of layers if that will help Very Happy


A quick screen shot of the layer palette - this is taken after I added the frame, the only layer not showing is the white background layer at the very bottom - hope this helps a little Smile
